16th November 2009, 03:23 PM #1 LanView3 ports are locked.
So states the dialogue box that pops up when I try to run LanView. The rest of the messages: Ensure another copy of LV3 server is not already running.
I've looked in Task Manager, cannot see LV3 there. There is only me logged in to the server locally - as in stood by the machine.
Anyone got any ideas what's happening here please?

I've got the program to load now.. had to open port 2607 (inbound) and 2104 (outbound).. set manually in ISA configuration.
and obviously the normaly VNC ports, and standard ping ports.
It seems thats what ports they use to send broadcast signal out to clients and back again
