    Ranger Remote Control

    Does anyone have a Client32.ini file that has the switches for silent mode. I wish not to have the yellow star or toolbar at login that appears on student machines.

    Thanks

    You can use the adms to set all of the options via GPO.

    I don't have a list of the switches i'm afraid, here is what my ini file looks like just for reference.

    Code:
    [Client]
    _present=1
    DisableChatMenu=1
    DisableRequestHelp=1
    Shared=1
    silent=1
    UnloadMirrorOnDisconnect=0
    Usernames=*

    [_Info]
    Filename=C:\Program Files\Ranger Remote Control\Deploy\Client32.ini

    [_License]
    _checksum=************
    _version=1000
    control_only=0
    expiry=
    inactive=0
    licensee=SENTINEL - ********************
    maxslaves=***
    os2=1
    product=20
    quiet=1
    serial_no=*********
    shrink_wrap=0
    transport=0

    [UI]
    EnableAnnotate=1
    EnableAudio=1
    EnableGetName=1
    EnableGroupLeader=1
    EnableLayouts=1
    EnableMultiScan=1
    EnableSendCollectWork=1
    EnableShowLeader=1

    [View]
    MultiView=1
    SimpleView=0
    Windowed=1

    If you are wanting to turn off the student toolbar that appears at the top of their desktop when a tutor connects then this is a tutor setting and isn't in the client32.ini.

    See View->Current Settings->Student Toolbar from the Tutor menu to turn it off or configure it.

    Regards
