    ABTutor settings

Where does the ABTutor teacher console store it's settings, I've setup a group and some other settings but I can't see where these settings are stored I can't see a folder in the user profile and no settings seemed to appear in the Program Files folder.

I can see a ABControl.xml file but I can't read it in either wordpad or IE which is odd. Are you supposed to be able to read the contect.

If the file is in there than I imagine that the same settings will apply to any user that logs on am I right?

    Cheers.

yeah sorry it is an xml file. not with it today at all. you should be able to edit it in notepad. yeah copy the file to the respective teachers desktops and you should have all the same policies etc... in there.

I think so. can't be 100% possitive as i'm not there today but i'm pretty sure it contains all the settings.

Any idea if you can have multiple tutors connected to a client?

Sometime a teacher might have all of the class in thumbnail view and we might need to view one client to troubleshoot, currently ABTutor refuses a second connection but we can do this with Net Support School.

    Cheers.

    Hi

I had the same problem and got round it by deploying vnc to the machines as well.
