    RM CC3 & IMail - to - Citrix & Exchange

    Hi there,

I was wondering if anyone on here has any experience of migrating from RMCC3/IMail over to WinServ 2008/Citrix XenApp and Exchange?

If you have, can you please share with me how you went about it etc etc.

    Cheers

    Hi there

    bodminman,

What are you missing from Imail that you need to switch to Exchange? Some of our newer releases have a lot of the same functionality.

    Hi,

basically I have just started a new job and the messaging is done through IMail, a very old version at that. (v7 I think)

We are licensed to use Exchange and as this is my background I'm more akin to convert unless otherwise convinced.

Can someone please let me know what the new IMail version can/can't do that Exchange 2007 can/can't do?

    Cheers

    Cameron,
I work for Ipswitch Imail Tech Support. What I can tell your right off is that you are running a VERY old version of Imail. We just released version 11, and it has a lot of the same functionality as Exchange. You can share calendars and contacts from Outlook and/or webmail, externally or internally, and now has the ability to do mobile sync of these items to smart phones. If you are interested, I can help you install a trial version of 11 and you can give it a test run to check it out.
The number to sales is (877) 488-7341
The number to tech support is (706) 312-3550.

I PMed your my email address.

Please let me know what I can do to help get you started,
    Danny
