    What Network Is Yours?

    What network do you run in your main Curriculum network? I'm just curious as to what people use.

    I don't want this to go into a RM vs Vanilla ware please

    Yep Same as on that windows plain all the way, allows everything we need with 'easy' administration

    Plain Windows environment at all sites, may end up looking into the SmartNet (linux) system also to support some schools that have the system already.

    plain windows, but with cleanslate to 'kidproof' or 'teacherproof' the desktops, works a treat

    Vanilla 2k3 and xp pro. Does'nt matter which server or computer I lick though, they all taste like plastic

Their IT teacher was off long term ill and they had OFSTED coming in at any moment & IT had been commented on last time round. Go in and find 3 versions of Winsuite with no passwords or clue how to use them. Cracked them all. V pleased with myself

    But saying that, my line manager looked interested when i explained what a vanillia network was...fingers crossed!
