Ergo Free2Teach
I posted this to a reply in Budgets and Financing, but think the question is more suited to posting here:
I am also looking for some information of Ergo Free2Teach. Is anyone using one of these systems and can recommend them?
I am not a big fan of RM, and am looking for something decent to replace CC3 with, that will be easy to run, cheap to buy, run quickly and be reliable without ongoing expensive support costs and problems.
I saw a demo of Free2Teach at Bett and was quite impressed. Apart from Vanilla Networks, RM and Ergo, what other good (Windows Based) network systems are available for schools at the moment?

Viglen Classlink
I've not used either so can't really comment on its suitability if its good / bad etc.

21st February 2009, 08:36 AM #3 Viglen is probably the second biggest swear word in schools second only to "census". I've had no personal dealings with it so no idea why or what's involved but obviously there's a reason behind that which would air caution for anyone

As far as I was aware Ranger is owned by RM now (unless they resold it?).
I was not aware Viglen were still making Classlink - They dd not seem to be advertising it too heavily when I looked at their stand at Bett.
I am still looking for some info on Free2Teach if anyone is using it?

I think it is owned by RM - but they still sell it as a separate product as far as I am aware.

Free2Teach
May be worth speaking to one of these schools who Ergo have listed as case studies.
Don't know too much about the Ranger the product and tie in with RM.
