    Lanview - Windows Firewall

I am looking to use LanVeiw School wide, but the issue i am having is that we use windows firewall, and i need to make an exception to allow lanview to work.

As the client dont really leave any Programme Files (that i am aware of) i only have the option to open a port. does anyone know what port lanview listen's on?

    Thanks for your time

    James.

What you need is to add these entries as it is in to your GPO:

    C:\Program Files\MST Software\LanView3 Server\LanView3Server.exe:*:enabled:LanView3 Server

    C:\Program Files\MST Software\LanView3 Client\LV3Client.exe:*:enabled:Lanview3 Client

It doesn't use any ports that am aware of.
