Clonezilla to USB Drive

Morning,

Has anyone used this method to ghost? I have a ssh server set up but as I have a spare USB I want to use that.

I tried it yesterda and it kept saying, failed to initialise the USB when it asked me to switch it on.

Came in this morning and it works, even with the tizzy fit about NTFS.

Cloning takes about 14 minutes with everything on it, I like Clonezilla.

Now all I need to do is set up a server to broadcast the images... maybe later.

clonezilla is fabulous - easy to set up and works really well. This document shows how to configure a server for multicasting etc

I did toy with this and was going to try setting up a vmware machine using ubuntu as my DRBL but haven't got round to it, wonder if it will work?
