shortcut not working properly??
as normal just installed some software and placed the icon in all users desktop but when other users log in its not showing properly and when they click on it the message is the parameter is not correct. i have tried changing security rights and still no joy. do i need to do something with the power users group if so how do i do this please??

24th September 2008, 02:01 PM #2 Sounds like the permissions on the shortcut or the program folder. Double check the required groups have read and possibly write permission to the program folder.

i have already tried with program folder and the shortcut and even given full control but with still no joy??

28th August 2009, 11:47 PM #4 dont know but do you have any entrys in the application data folder as you migt have a issue with access to that folder only say this a i had a similar prob with activ studio 2 and activote registrations not saving for teachers but they did for the administrator i changed the permissions in the application data folder and it works fine now......(weird)
dont know if this helps but it is something else to try.
