I did a search to see if anyone had had any previous problems with RPM but couldn't find anything so apologies if I'm just being blind.
Anyway, we reinstalled our printer server during the summer holiday and we are now having a problem with RPM in that it doesn't seem to pick up a good portion of the users print jobs. They send it and according to e.g Word, the print job has been sent but RPM doesn't have any log of it.
Any ideas what is going on?
I have had this peoblem before, I had taken over from another company and the school was a mess, so i rebuilt 80% of the network in doing so i found a software called print ranger was insatlled on the DC so where the printer, I moved the printer from the DC to the file server (where they should be) and found I was not getting and print credits deducted from the students accounts.
To fix this issue I had to reinstall the the database (Remove and reinstall the users and priner) to Ranger and this fixed the issue.
