    Change resolution an all CC3 stations?

    Hi all,
    We need to change the screen resolution on all our workstations for SIMS plus it needed doing anyway as it's on 800 x 600 which is soooo last year.

    Can anyone let me know if this is easy to do on CC3?

    I have a script that runs qres but i can't seem to get it to run through the netlogon share and logon scripts!

    Thanks

    I use something similar. Just packaged it up and sent it out. The next time someone logs on the new res is set.

    Thing of beauty it be

    From M Green in the RM Communities forum:

    Another easy package based on QRes.exe is the folowing example, useful if you want different resolutions throughout your school, this will set the resolution during its installation, just change the package depending on what resolution you want, also make sure you lock down the ability of people to change the resolution, either via disabling intel hot keys and tray icon etc and other graphics drivers etc! If somehow the resolution does get changed on a workstation, just re-apply the package on that workstation or room and it will change it back on reboot!

    Create folder Screen Resolution 1024x768x32bitx75hz, in there create folder v1.0.0.0 and in there put QRes.exe and create ini file called Screen Resolution 1024x768x32bitx75hz.in and put the following info in it and you are done -

    Code:
    [Package]
    Description=Screen Resolution 1024x768x32bitx75hz
    Version=1.0.0.0
    OS=5.WS
    ExeFile=QRes.exe
    Addcommand= /x 1024 /y 768 /c:32 r:75
    QRes is available from here: Software Cave

    Oh,
    It's applied the package but nothing has changed

    I'll have a double check on that one.

    I can't see when the qres.exe actually gets executed after the package install!

    Make sure it is in the package folder - it should run when the application wizard says "Installing Screen Resolution 1024x768x32bitx75hz".
