Is there a way in this bit of software to get it to tell you how many of each type of file it has found and also if there are any duplicates.
If this is not possable in the ANFS software is there any other bits of free software that could do this.

2nd June 2008, 04:17 PM #2 This won't tell you about duplicates but it can tell you how many files of a particular type it has found as well as their disk space usage.
It will scan both local and networked drives. Also has a filter list so you can also specify your own file extensions.
Used it last week to find out what mp3 and video files staff have stored on the network. Results are visually displayed which is handy when you need to email the results to name and shame!
