Network and Classroom Management Thread, Ranger Remote not installing in Technical; We are having prolems installing RRC9 on a new suite of PC's..
First we tried to remotedeploy and that failed ...
I have a little patch that will fix this problem. You copy the client32.ini file from a working machine and run this patch at it will sort the problem. We had the same problem it had something to do with the Intel graphics (netsupport told me this anyway).
If you PM me your e-mail address and I can send it to you if you like
I was deploying from a tutor machine from which I had done so in the past. The old settings had been retained even though I had installed V9 over V7, and these old settings referred to an old location of the "Deploy" package.
Try selecting the target machines, and check the "properties" is pointing at the correct location.

It keeps saying Access Denied in the Properties of the Remote Deploy ..

I think they are referring to the properties of the deployment package rather than the properties of the machine.
Try the following:
- select a machine or domain/workgroup in the list
- right click, select Deploy->NetSupport/Ranger Package
- check the settings and/or click Properties button to change them
The key item is where it is looking for the setup.exe, it will use the license and configuration from that folder for the deploy.
