Serco eportal on Windows Mobile 6 PDA
We have been using eportal in our school for a year now, the PE department have all been using fairly old PDA's with Pocket PC 2003 which happily access the PDA version of eportal over our wireless network. I have a Windows Mobile 6 PDA, with exactly the same connection settings as the Pocket PC's, yet I am unable to access eportal. The message simply is 'cannot find page'. Any ideas?

That doesn't seem to work, do you also have a server address for eportal? i.e. adminserver3/eportal/index.jsp

15th October 2008, 02:32 PM #4 Proxy bypass settings
We've got some old Toshiba PocketPCs running Windows Mobile (I think - they've been sat on a shelf unused for so long I don't know what they're running).
I've set the proxy server address so they can access the internet. Is there any way of setting the proxy bypass so they'll access web sites (like Eportal) on the LAN?
Thanks.
(We bought a few of these PDAs years ago. Biggest waste of money I know of).
I've also got an Asus Eee on my desk, running the original Asus Linux distro. It works like a dream.
