Internet Monitoring for audit purposes

Need some advice as what's being used for internet monitoring in schools. A lot is very expensive particular for primary schools.

Any suggestions or pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

We use Squid and Dansguardian, which can be integrated to AD. Very cheap as in free

Can seem a little daunting if you have not used them before, bust ask back on here of you would like help.

If you just want to monitor, rather than block, you don't need dansguardian. You can get away with just using squid on it's own.
