Papercut Logger, any horror stories.

I'm considering putting Papercut logger on our print server (which also does some other tasks).

Has anyone had any big problems with it?

Nope...

It helped me nabble an individual who had been using school resources to print off less than education related imagery, which was unexpected.

Have started using it with no issues. See this thread for info on how to turn the csv data into nice charts

Thanks, the NM told me I could install it without Edugeek approval. Seems to be working very well.

We bought in to the premium papercut NG in 2006, and don't regret it at all. No problems whatsoever, everything is compatible, everything is detected and most importantly, everything works!

Same here has been brilliant package, only just looking into giving pupils quota's though, staff have been recharged for their department use since we got it.

I installed this about two weeks ago and have had no problems at all. Like others I've managed to nab students and teachers who go crazy and print out hundreds of sheets (no I'm not joking either). I'm currently putting my proposal to start charging students and departments (rather than them just comming to me and saying I want a toner cartidge now!) together, but I'm buying the software regardless. Also their tech. support is excellent.
