Change system time

Some of our pupils have changed the system time so it reads:

2:03PM <::ALEX::> or 2:03PM <//GEORGE\\> etc

Anybody have any idea how they are managing this?

It's an RM CC3 network.

control panel, region and language options -> regional options tab -> customize -> Time -> Time format box

Wierd, why isn't that locked down by default on CC3?

How come I can't put my name after my time? It just says invalid character. Vanilla XP.
