    Blueprint

    Hi,

Just been reading though some of RM's Blueprint packages.

Do I have to run these on a clean machine? If I do, do I have to have .net framework or any other required packages allocated to this clean machine, or is it only when it get deployed to the workstation on the network?

Also, what is the blueprint step by step like? useful?

    Thanks

    Re: Blueprint

Yes, ideally you need to use a clean machine with the .net framework and the Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1 packages installed on it.

Blueprints are generally easily to follow just make sure you have the exact version of the software used in the blueprint and you shouldn't have any problems.

    Re: Blueprint

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

So on my clean machine, just allocate .net framework and 3.1 installer (the the packages I must have allocated prior), and just remember to de-alloocate at the end of the building process?

    Thanks

Yes and make sure you Reset the profile of the packagebuilder user before starting to build the package.
