Classroom Management & eSafety Software - no suppliers please!

    Hi All,

We're looking at purchasing Classroom Management and eSafety/Safeguarding software. I'm looking for comments please - experiences good and bad, range of facilities etc - with regard to the following combinations of software...

Impero only, as a one stop solution
    NetSupport School + Policy Central
    NetSupport School + Securus

We're a selective school so the level of general behaviour is good. If you run any of the combos above I'd love to hear your views!

    Thanks!

We have Impero and it is brilliant, We had NSS for a while but it wasn't for us. I wish impero would bring out a solution for tablets though

We've run Impero and Securus for a year now and have been pleased with both.

@clockend25 - interesting. I assume that Impero doesn't meet your needs then as an eSafety/Safeguarding product? They pitch themselves as a competitor to Securus.....so do you just use Impero for Classroom Management?

Impero here, over the moon with it. It's pretty much our primary filter and very much covers our demanding e-safety requirements.

We run LanSchool + Securus. Former was very good value for money (no recurring fee if you don't want the maintenance... and we don't, never used support, never need to) and did everything we needed it to at the time. Simple to install, simple for teachers to use, not bloated with unnecessary features.

Securus was in place when I arrived. The platform creaks at times, but it has proven invaluable in the past, and been used as police evidence. It ticks away quite happily in the background.

All this in a selective girls' school, so good behaviour - but there are still pastoral issues (of course) that Securus is useful for, and LanSchool is handy for teaching + learning as well as classroom control. The "freeze all screens" button is the best bit though; so simple, but the cries of dismay every time you click it are a delight.
