RM CC4 MC Access to %ProgramData%

    Hello Guys and Girls,

For some reason I cannot grant full access to %ProgramData% for every user in our school. Some of our applications do not work unless they have access to this folder. I cannot seem to grant full permission to this folder I have tried the following:

Software restriction Policy GPO Additional: I have entered a path rule to set unrestricted access to "%ProgramData%\*" and this doesn't work.
RM Security package: I have created a RM Package on CC4 management console to relax C:\ProgramData under the security tab.

I have of course tried gp update /force, could it be because it is a hidden folder? Or maybe I have a permission somehwere that is conflicting with this setting. Any help would greatly be appreciated?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't have that path rule set in RMMC, but I do have %programfiles%\" and a couple of C:\ProgramData\Software Name\Folder\Folder and they work

I was told that having them set in RMMC does not always work. So I set them on our FR DC I also have %ProgramFiles%\ set and Yes C:\ProgramData\Software Name for a few entries. But I want to grant access to all %ProgramData% which would make our lives a lot easier. I will try all the alternatives and see how I get on. Cheers.

Only have them through RMMC here, computers need at least 2 restarts to take effect though.
