    Network Monitoring

    Hi all, i was just wondering if anyone knew of a way i could set up a monitor so if a new piece of equipment was attached to our network i would get an alert of some sort.

    You need something along the lines of PackeFence... do a forum search and you should turn up some info.

    SpiceWorks can do this and it's free! Also has alot of other features. Will give you alerts on new pieces of software that have been installed, which computers dont have an antivirus, etc etc... Take a lookie http://www.spiceworks.com/
