+1 for Impero, we've used it for a couple of years now, and it's awesome, great support, regular updates, easy to deploy...

The feature list is impressive too, far more than just classroom control... It ticked all the boxes I was looking for when I got it, and was cheaper than a lot of the other products individually...

Well worth checking out - ask them for a trial...

Impero Support are spot on as well, usually they give a call back within a couple of hours even to a minor question or issue. Much better than any other support I've dealt with.
Never had a problem with SCCM getting our apps out there.

Another plus for impero. We looked at LanSchool but found the features of impero outweighed the features of LanSchool. We had Smart Sync before and impero is in a different league completely

+1 for AB tutor, think we got a site licence for just over 2K, Impero were wanting 10K +

I suspect you get what you pay for. And of course, your needs may differ. I suspect Impero may soon be something you'll find running just about everything in a school rather than "just a remote control package". (No bad thing in our eyes if things continue!)

Yep another happy Impero school here. We use it predominantly as a Network Management tool than a classroom management tool but it certainly has the features that your average and advanced member of teaching staff would want to use.

Re: Classroom control Ranger, Netsupport, Impero

We should really train teachers to use it. Alot of teachers used v2 of impero. But some are put off in v3.

    But teachers are lazy thou.

It's handy when your on the phone to a member of staff and there having problems. (There on the other side of the school)

Impero for me, in-fact just placed our renewal last week for it after a great year from our point of view, just getting ready to do final checks its locked down enough before letting teachers start to play...... scary times!
