Hi One of our users is unable to remote control a machine in impero all other memebers of team can remotely control the machine.
User is able to remotely log on the machine and reboot just not able to view the machine screen

This is usually firewall or DNS settings which seem to cause that here. Try pinging the station and NSLookup the DNS name then the returned IP and ensure they match

Hello
Machine A is PC that is trying to do the remote control
Machine B is PC that you are trying to remote control
Check firewall on machine A can you do file transfer as uses similar things in the backend code. Can you remote from machine b to machine A?

21st November 2012, 11:42 PM #10 Had a very similar sounding problem to yours and it turned out to be a font verdana to be exact had gone corrupt on the machine (a) that could not view another machine through impero. Deleted the font restarted and all was good. Tech support found this out by a log file in program files inside impero. Strange issue I thought but was happy it was resolved without too much trouble.

Cool Sounds like a .net issue and windows updates refreshed the .net install..
