NDPS / iPrint?
After being on a Pcounter course, I am hoping to implement the suite into our site ASAP!
In the past we have just used local IP based printer drivers on workstations, but Pcounter obviously requires the queues/drivers to be located on the Netware print server.
Could somebody explain the difference between NDPS / iPrint and how we should go about setting them up? As I don't have a huge amount of Novell knowledge!
Cheers

Before you get over enthusuastic about the PCounter bit - find out whether they will be supporting iPrint on OES Linux. I used PCounter in the early '90s and liked it, the NetWare integration is great. If they plan to support it on OES Linux, we'll be able to use it in the future.
They were being a little sluggish about its adoption last thing I knew - some were recommending PaperCut - about which I know nothing.

We are just migrating away from PCounter for that reason. We have gone with Papercut and so far so good. Very good support.
We plan to run all printing and photocopying in Papercut.

yes the Iprint side of things that papercut can handle has made a lot of people/sites happy.

Looking at the PCounter website, "Pcounter for iPrint OES 2 beta testing begins soon!"
It does look like PCounter are looking to implement it on OES.

I can confirm we have active Beta test sites in the UK now - I'll try and keep this thread updated.
Pcounter Station has already been updated to monitor the IPrint OES queues!
We do try to ensure all solutions will work cross platform - not always easy though!

I anyone wants the native OES install for Pcounter, let me know :-) Trial available.
