We have a 4 node Novell Netware 6.5 Cluster with Zenworks Desktop Managment 7.

I have gone through at a previous job a Novell to Microsoft migration and to be honest when I got this job I went straight back to Novell.

Why does a Novell Zen Works log in take 6 minutes in my school. I keep asking techies but just get its not on list of priorities.

Is this me expecting too much?

Are they using roaming profiles with Zen?? This can cause long logins unless you exclude certain things in the roaming profiles. We did quite a few tests with this before deployment. We now use a hybrid roaming/redirected profile.
