    Zen Imaging + SATA

    Hi,

    Trying to image some workstations using Zen imaging and the process is taking DAYS on SATA drives.

    As soon as we connect up a IDE drive, the imaging speeds along!

    Any tips? Zenworks 7...

    When you get to the bash prompt type this in
    Code:
    hdparm -d1 /dev/hda
    It turns DMA on and makes a huge difference in the time it takes to image a PC.

    Let me know how you get on

    Have you tried the latest bootcd and updated tftp img files?
