Setting up a pile of Asus eeepc 701s
We have a large number of Asus eeepc 701 netbooks, from an old scheme the school ran (around 60 or so of them) and we've decided that we're going to try and put them to some use.
Now, there are a couple of options at the moment:
1. Use the stock linux install, connected to our guest wireless so they have access to internet and moodle. Disadvantages being lack of printing (no web print available), and the stock Linux is a bit unpolished to say the least.
2. Use a different linux install, but same as above. Something like EasyPeasy.
3. Same as 2 but connect them to proper wireless, with likewise to use their own logins. Disadvantages being that the limited hard drive size will eventually fill up with home directories.
How would you guys use these devices?
