Just doing an upgrade to SR2 on CC4 and have been asked to build some netbooks (with XP home out of the box) to Windows 7, and use them on the CC4 network, has anyone managed to get the PXE build process to work on any Netbooks?
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
They just use the usal Intel adapters - if RM are staying on the ball (and expecily if you bought the netbooks from RM) they should have the drivers out in the most recent driver packs.
If not just install Windows 7 and use something like gimagex to do your own imgaging then smartclient away :D
I managed to do this in the end by creating an image using the Win 7 Sysprep and setting the image for the netbooks OOBE etc, splatting it out via USB key to all 30 and then using the RM SmartClient to get the CC4 sections across.Quote:

Never a problem :D I used to do this with our HP Notebooks as it was impossible to inject some of the HP drivers into the RM PXE build process :)Quote:
