I'm sure lots of people will bring out (new) products for Win8.

Samsung are also worth watching, I think, as they make some really nice kit - our "nicest" monitors are Samsung, I like the Samsung laptop we have in school and I personally have a Samsung Galaxy Tab, and kind of wish I bought their phone instead of the HTC Sensation (although that does have some nice features).

Must be the Transformer Book with Windows 8 Pro. I'm sure Asus will sell a Windows RT tablet too, since they make everything.

Waiting here to, as a lot of others are finding there's an increasing interest and demand for tablets in our school but I have yet to see one that allows easy network integration (or at least doesn't cost a load to do!). I wouldn't want to buy a load of tablets (ipad/android or any other) for them to have very limited use. Which is where Windows 8 seems to have an answer, it's jsut not here yet!

That's the dilemma, isn't it - go iPad now and find solutions / workarounds for the issues or wait for Windows 8? Of course, if Win8 turns out to be another Vista, we could be waiting even longer....

I do wonder if Win8 is going to be a Vista - on the desktop at least. It'll be weird to be in a situation where Win8 provides what we need on tablets, but is unusable on the desktop and we stick with Win7...
