If you go to the link in my previous reply, and head over to the Galaxy SII thread, you should find everything you need.

Don't be scared! It's pretty straightforward, and once you do it, you'll feel more at ease with doing it again!

(sounds like a lot of other things.....!!)

Hmm, will have to see if Mrs AT's phone will find the upgrade this weekend as she's on O2.

    Is it an over-the-air update?

    Niiice.

I'll have to fiddle with the Missus' S2 later (fnarr).
... and now I have even more impetus to replace my Orange SF... it's upgrade time on saturday.

Found out yesterday I can't root my Sensation yet as the H-Boot is too high a version.

Got the official ICS update on my S2 last night on Orange. Working rather nicely now after I'd done a factory reset as it was a bit messed up before that.

Was sat on the o2 ICS upgrade for a couple of weeks now, and have recently installed the F1 GalaxyNexus ROM, very simple, very fast, Straight ICS4 without any touchwiz or any extra software. Perfect for what I wanted and looks far better IMO
