For some reason my iphone 4 with ios5 will not connect any of our ruckus wlans.
I have been living with this since ios5 was released but was just pushed over the edge when a student connected no problem whilst in our server room.
Can anyone suggest what could be blocking my phone from connecting specifically to our ruckus?
Long shot but I might not be the only person this has happened to.

11th January 2012, 11:46 AM #2 We have a similar issue... Possibly.
Rukus wireless network, but the problem is with a laptop and not an iPhone.
The settings are fine and other laptops connect without a problem.
Strangely, it connects for half a second when it's in the process of disabiling the wireless adapter.
There is absolutely no indication of it connecting, or trying to connect, on the ZoneDirector.

11th January 2012, 01:03 PM #5 I had this problem, I fixed it by, doing a factory reset on the Zone Director, and manually reconfigure the ZD again. I did have a backup of the setup but didnt use it else it could have carried the problem forward. Just make suse you have a copy of the config your ZD does so reconfigure shouldnt be a problem.
My issues where new devices such as wii, iphones, DSs and new laptops just wouldnt connect, I think its because there have been a few firmware updates since the first configuration, it might have messed it up somehow
Hope this helps

11th January 2012, 01:45 PM #7 I've only ever seen this happen with 1 jailbroken iPhone. Said user wiped his iPhone with the latest software and it connected straight away.
I have also seen users with jailbroken iPhones connect no problem, so it may have been a coincidence. Either that or they used more up-to-date software to jailbreak...
