    iPad in Education magazine

I was intrigued to see a tweet about a new education magazine aimed at using iPads in school. I know it will cost some money from the NewsStand and time will tell if it is any good but I thought I'd share the link. It doesn't say whether it is focused on 1 to 1 schemes or classroom sets, but I am sure that many of the ideas in mags like this can be transposed to other tablets solutions.

Interesting as you said lot of it could be be transported to non IPad tablets as the pedagogy will be the same.

Sorry to bump open an old thread - just wondered if anyone had purchased the said magazine and if it was worth a look or indeed helpful?

I did get the first issue and have had a look through. I think it will take me more than one issue to decide whether it is worth it.

Some of the articles seem a tad sparse and I hope they expand a bit more over the coming issues. I was half hoping that it would have more of the feel of iCreate with some hands-on tutorial time, either based on the use of devices in class or the management of devices.

Issue 2 is now out so I'll pull that down and have a look. At £1.49 an issue I am happy to invest a little and compare it against the various websites / blogs / etc that are out there.

It is worth stating that the website is a good source as well, and there are a number of interesting edtech items on there too ... not quite as good as Tech&Learning but they are growing.
