Windows Phone 7.5 Mango Released to Users
Mango has begun its release to uesrs, it is only going out to the first 10% of users initially and will roll out over the next four weeks. If you don't want to wait however you can force the upgrade through the zune software:

1st October 2011, 01:08 PM #2 This little trick really works and allows you to update. Have updated a HTC Motzart and stuff like the SMS voice recognition and Group hometiles are really handy. I also like the visual search translate feature where you can just take a picture of something and have the words translated
Well worth the upgrade but you will need to link your facebook account to your live account if you have not done so already in order to get your facebook chat working and get rid of the rather cryptic error code 0 message from the facebook account in settings.
You can also now pin Outlook folders right to the home screen which is extremely useful when you use email rules to file away all you email into managable chunks.

1st October 2011, 08:28 PM #3 Did the forced update here on my HTC Pro 7 and worked a treat as well
I know plenty of people who have looked and gone oooh its a HTC (thinking my phone is a droid) only for me to show off WP7.5 instead

1st October 2011, 09:55 PM #7 Got mine done. Win 7.5 seems to run faster than Win 7. Like having a new toy!

2nd October 2011, 07:56 AM #8 Thanks Synack, update worked like a charm!
Mango has been a long time coming, but is worth it!
So much nicer having your twitter account more incorporated.
I'm loving my Windows phone, just need more companies to create apps for it as well as for android and iPhone.
Ah, I love the smell of geekiness in the morning!

7.5 is quite cool, with the better APIs now avalible to everyone hopefully there will be even more compelling apps avalible as well. As to the apps its a question of asking. I send emails off to places with iPhones apps that I deal with and ask that they get WP7 apps too, has worked a couple of times and if enough people do it it should provoke them into making them.
