I've only got 5 devices on there but these are my personal devices as all the kit is now out with schools.

I'll have a dig and see what I can find out.

From a few of the Qs on the Apple Discussion Forums and elsewhere it appears that 5 is the limit people have experienced.

I might ask a school or two to test it, but I'm just trying to find out whether the 3 registered ID limit per device could cause a problem (if it still exists).

That is good news. Do you have any MDM in place?

Mobile Device Management. Apple have their own offering and the same APIs are then used by other providers (Casper, Airwatch) to provide similar or even better.

The RM Tech seminars are going to cover some of this apparently (which it looks like I can't get to) and there is another Apple Leadership event next week (on Tuesday at Silverstone and a number of local schools have been invited) but Apple will say to go and talk with an ASE / AASP (such as RM, Solutions Inc, KRCS, Toucan, etc) to get advice ... or go on a training course (which a number of ASEs/AASPs run).

Not at the moment, but I'm looking at it.. we are pretty much done with a beta test now, and are looking at moving forward with either student owned devices, or multiple trolleys..
