    app request: Bluetooth radar?

Got a problem with students having their mobile phones on while in school. A quick bluetooth search revealed quite a lot of discoverable devices. Is there an bluetooth radar app that will allow me to locate a bluetooth device based on signal strength?

Bluetooth doesn't really work like that. You can get a rough idea with signal strengths I think but there is no tracking like app available afaik. Would be cool I admit to track the little blighters down like this but I don't think it's possible

are there any technological solutions to tracing mobile phones in the classroom?

Bonus points if it looks like a Ghostbusters PKE meter!

What would happen if you tried sending a text file called "TURN YOUR PHONE OFF YOU 'ORRIBLE LITTLE BLIGHTER" to the visible devices?
