good idea!
Yeah, im not in the habit of speak "tech" anyway a) because of working with non-tech people and b) a bit of confidence thing and c) being self taught sometimes ive never picked up/learnt the correct terminology for things lol!
Thanks Carl.

sounds just like me...perhaps a pic of boot up, standard load up screen, app store, iplayer, youtube, generic app *maybe wifi finder or something* and a game *angry birds*? That way its a range of pictures

Do you use this as an e-reader? I keep considering a tablet but cannot afford a top of the range device, but would only really consider buying one if I could use it to read on.
Basically I'm trying to justifty buying one for any other reason than i want one![]()
I've since read that the 101 can develop problems (specifically the USB drive) over time. @Little-Miss does your device still work and do you find your using it as much as you thought?
HMV are selling these now for £129...

Device still works, but has slowed down. That maybe my penchant for downloading masses of apps. I plan to wipe it and start again.
Do i use it often? No, not really. After getting an iPhone 4 i use that a lot more then my tablet. I kinda want an iPad now. Nice introduction to tablets...

Hence my interest nowWas thining of getting one as a present, but now thinking of getting one for myself
I am playing around with an Ipad in work at the mo and must say the screen is much better than I would have thought for reading from. I've had a quick play with the Archos in HMV but as there is no books installed on it, I cant see how good it would be to read on. I just know the screen insn't supposed to be too good, but I just wondered how much of a problem it was on a daily basis.

If you can get the HP Tablet, then thats the winner, especially as Android is being ported for it![]()

I wouldnt fancy reading a book on it to be honest....screen is very wierd in profile view....

Unfortunately it comes down to cost. That is what I would like, but was looking at a budget one as a present. Since I started looking though, it's got my interest and i've started coming up with lots of reasons why I would need one![]()
I did think, maybe a budget entry tablet wouldn't be too much of a waste of money if I didn't use it that much. But chances are if it's not as good that would be one reason why it wasn't used.
