    Nexus One to get Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) soon :)

    Good news for all of you Nexus One owners out there (me included). It looks like Gingerbread may be arriving in a matter of days!!

    Wonder if they made some minor tweaks to the phone before they started selling to developers when they closed the web store.

    Still seems odd, can't imagine what differences there would be (or what would stop us from installing it on a stock Nexus One?)

    I wonder if they just have all the dev ones serials noted and only send the autoupdate to them. I doubt it would stop you manually installing them though.

    No one really knows. It was originally assumed that Gingerbread was 3.0 then rumours started circulating that it was a Minor update like Froyo and that Honeycomb was the next major update and was therefore 3.0 - I don't think it's ever been confirmed which is which.
