Hmm I am not sure what the nexus developer edition is though?

Good news indeed....I received my replacement Nexus t'other day (aerial issues)...bring on the update!

Wonder if they made some minor tweaks to the phone before they started selling to developers when they closed the web store.
Still seems odd, can't imagine what differences there would be (or what would stop us from installing it on a stock Nexus One?)

Would be nice if the update didn't break android market like the last one!

No one really knows. It was originally assumed that Gingerbread was 3.0 then rumours started circulating that it was a Minor update like Froyo and that Honeycomb was the next major update and was therefore 3.0 - I don't think it's ever been confirmed which is which.
