HTC Desire Froyo update will remove Vodafone 360 apps | Electricpig
Don't know how true the info is though
T-Mobile are doing their rollout in September. My Desire needs Froyo NOW!
Froyo is lovely. One of the few benefits of having a Nexus One is getting the latest Android platform first (Nexus Ones are the Android default dev platform). I just wish I could get Touchflo on my Nexus One
I'll miss it from the Widlfire when it returns from the menders next week.
Oooh, you can. Instructions here. Looks like a job for Friday (I'm away on my hols near Alnwick for a few days this week with the family).
Its available from Vodaphone via Menu-Settings-About Phone-Sys software Updates
Working fine for me on my Vodafone Desire. Did the upgrade this morning.
first attempt failed - not enough memory - deleted a few apps and trying again!
It just saif congrats - yo.;ve upgraded to 2.10xxxxxxxx!!!!!!!!
(its off doing something else now - up to 51% so I pray to god its jsut some some on necessary intermediery thing)
I went into settings and it says Android Version 2.2
The 2.10xxx if something called software number!
And Iplayer now works
Finally caught up with the IPhone
owww i want it on my wildfire!
It's really winding me up that we're being made to wait so long for it (I'm with T-Mobile). Does anybody know how difficult it is to de-brand a Desire? I don't want to be waiting this long for the next update (if it gets released to Desire at all)
I heard T-Mobile were pushing it out in September. They'd better or my head will explode.
