anybody tried this does it work while using the satnav?

some of these cheap car chargers will only deliver 500mA and that is not enough to charge the battery with the satnav working.

Been using this car charger for most of last week while on holiday and it seemed to keep the battery fully charged even while the GPS was running. The only time my battery struggled was when I kept forgetting to quit maps before unplugging it while out and about, but that was just me being a dope! I can't comment on the exact power output right now, but it does have a little sticker on the side which should show this, I'll have to try and remember to look this evening.

The only possible downside is that it doesn't appear to put itself into a powersave mode while the phone isn't connected, so you can't just leave it plugged into the lighter overnight. TBH though, I don't know if any of the more expensive car chargers offer this type of feature, so might not be an issue after all.

SDMove, by the same guy is better. It actually scans your phone for apps that can be moved and moves them for you. Only works with 2.2 though.
