is that right! I will look into that!
*EDIT* They dont do the desire on O2, which is what I want as my friends and most of my family are on o2 so they'll get free texts to me.

Just checked with orange, to buy out my contract now (it has 5 months left, and its a £30 a month contract) would cost me £68.08 - how cool! lol. Just gonna phone the o2 shop on Thursday, see if they have the phone, if they do, I will go down, buy out my old one there and then, get a PAC code, set up contract and get the new phone!
I meant that phones4u dont do it...I know O2 did it which is why I asked them...
Gonna see if carphone warehouse will buy out my old contract etc

If you want a cool app for your Android - try the augmented reality app LAYAR - it's really interesting.
Back to Apps
Google Sky Maps
Tracker - very good if you are a walker and want to transfer the data etc to Google Maps.
Shop Savvy - Already saved me £3 on a tin of paint at B&Q
xScope Lite - I didn't like Dolphin when I tried it, but I may try it again now I'm used to the phone.
Just spoke with a guy called Tony at carphone warehouse - nice guy to talk too, gave me honest answers to my questions (rather than giving vague answers), and even told me how to save money when buying out my old contract!
What a thoroughly nice bloke! I will call him back on the 12th (my billing date for orange) and then order the phone!
Got a Carphone Warehouse and a phones 4 U at the top of the hill. Might take a walk up later or tomorrow.
P4U offered £37 a month to buy a 6 month contract, X10 was swap my Magic or £50 for phone. The Desire same price but would give me £50 for the Magic. Thinking about it.
Carphone were not interested.
Is there a decent QWERTY keyboard slider phone out for Android now? Apart from the Motorola Milestone (which I'm discounting because of the annoying case lip by the keyboard) I need something very very similar to my HTC Touch Pro as I can't do without a keyboard for emailing and the like!
I've got the latest WM 6.5 custom ROM and Sense UI on there but I'm missing out on all the nice apps on Android as they've pretty much dried up for WM now and WM7 looks a pile of crap from a tech perspective... no cabs, no copy \ apaste whaaaaa
I love the QWERTY on Bossman's Bold 9700 - making my ideal smartphone Blackberry Bold 9700 hardware running the latest Android OS. Wishful thinking
Is there an equivalent to FreeOFTE for PDA on Android yet? (Now that T-Mobile have let me down on the HD2?)
No practical use, but great for attracting the attention of her indoors when I want something (although she never responds well to it....)
