i tried this earlier this morning, i think where im falling over is the server details (yes i says ask the IT people but sush).

our web mail addy is 'https://xx.xx.xx.xx/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp?url=https://xx.xx.xx.xx/exchange/&reason=0'

i tried with just the ip in there not the rest and 'https://xx.xx.xx.xx/' with no joy

    Works here.

I'm using just mail.ourdomain.co.uk for the address.

could be the secure part of it (https), have a look on your web exchange for the server details (should be in a link somewhere on help i think)

Just put in the IP address and where it says use SSL choose ON.

Domain should be your domain, ie schoolname.

Username is just your username, ie JBloggs.

    Password is obviously your password.

If you are lucky enough to use a client certificate, they helpfully broke this in OS 3.0+

    We do :|

Hi, Could you please tell me how you managed to get it to work. I have the 32GB 3GS model and I tried everything but I had no joy to get the email to connect to the exchange. The address is https://24hrsschool.scholname.xx.sch.uk/owa, I was told because we're using an ISA 2000 and it doesn't support Exchange2007.

Any help is welcome and thanks in advance.
    Armadillo.

I have just set two up today

You donít put the http:// in (well I didnít today)

    so:-

    24hrsschool.scholname.xx.sch.uk

In the server name field - the rest of the field are very self explanatory.

I had had problems with the newer of the iPhone (had a later version of v3). It would work fine over 3G but not over the wireless. Because we use a firewall i had to make it IP an exception to get it working in the end.

Mine has been syncing well for months email cal and contacts
