    iphone and work

    does any one who has an iphone use it for work it have any apps that are useful in day to day life???

    for example i know with logmein there is an iphone app so i can sit in the ale house and do sims updates

    I'm not an iPhone lover but I do happen to know that there's Citrix clients for the iPhone.

    According to Stephen Fry (from his Top Gear interview) there's also a particularly good 'cruising' application if that's your cup o' tea! That maybe has less uses in work though

    I've got all sorts of applications work related, PING, Tracert and all those goodie applications, a good wifi finder/detector/checker

    and telnet for our RF system

    I purchased my iPhone so there's no work applications going onto it. If they want to provide me with a new 3GS, I may reconsidor.

    i use a vnc app on my phone to remote in on the print server if im walking around the school.

    how much were they? i have actually found the need for a ping app when fixing a friends computer.

    I think all the apps I've got cover around £7 total for them all.

    mochasoft do remote desktop lite and network ping lite (ping, ping subnet, traceroute and telnet) which are both free and good apps...
