We've got 170 new Lenovo ThinkPads to deploy a customised CC3 build to...
In the event of not being able to find a dos driver for the network card and then using the standard route of a build disk, anybody got any ideas for deploying the build without having to resort to manually installing XP Pro and then converting it to a CC3 workstation via makecc3....
Cheers
Why not use smartbuild on one machine up until the point where you get the RM build window (after XP is installed, where you specify computer name, domain, AD location etc.) then use an imaging program like Acronis Snap Deploy or Ghost to duplicate the HDD onto the rest of the machines, then you just image them, give them a name and let CC3 run its course.

Never thanked you for this. so..thanks!!
The first batch worked with a build disk..the new lot don't so I'm using ghost which is double fast!!!
Cheers
