Looking for some advice in getting up to speed with the breed of linux (debian i believe) that comes installed on the eepc (900 series).

Can anybody recommend a decent book that covers the basics such as file system, installing apps etc - have a reasonable technical ability (ex MCSE, CNA) but treated Linux a little like swine flu in the past.
