Has anyone played/got with an HP2140

Im trying to see if theres a netbook/cheap laptop that does at least 1024x768 resolution and googling seems to imply that either this machine

can come with a high resolution display

    or

does some jiggry-pokery to display 1200x768 on a physical 1024x576 display.
Anyone KNOW what is the true picture with these machines (no pun intended )

    regards

    Simon

the default for the main screen is 1024 x 576, you can get upto 1024x768 if you attach a monitor to it. (i have vista basic on) though i have heard that you can buy the mini 2140 with a 1024x768 main screen

Has anyone had one of these and managed to get it to boot from the network (Specificity WDS Windows Deployment services) as I what to take an image and deploy to other machines

When I select the boot from network, it doesn't even look like it trys to contact the network and just boots like normal..... I have XP on the laptop as well

Other than that its a great little mini laptop
