    Itouch or Iphone

I'm too and throwing over getting a Itouch or a Iphone and I really don't know which way to go...

I was wondering what your input is on the matter? and also what aps have you got? What can you do on the Iphone that you can't on the Itouch

I was thinking Iphone until I heard that you can do the whole texting/phoning thing (for free!) on the Itouch when your in wireless areas, and I'd just use a cheap phone when i'm not...

Also any mods you'd do to either? I've heard people mentioning JailBraking but have no idea what that is....

P.S Plan would be to use it both for work & pleasure... can you RDP on the itouch?

There's a version of LogMeIn for the iPhone - I've been looking at that.

The ipod touch dosent come with a built in microphone, so to make a phone call you would have to use skype and possibly buy the earphones with built in mic. I think its just easier to get an iphone.

    Except for the price.

The free (and paid) apps for the iPhone work for the iPod touch too.... RDP, VNC, Telnet, ping, fring etc.

I'd say iPhone, mainly due to pocket space and the "dammit, I dove into the shallow end" feeling with the Touch.

Plus the iPhone handling of SMS is awesome.

(recent convert to the off-white side).
