Mine and my GF's have both been rock solid, no issues at all.

My Nexus 7 gets really slow, especially when apps are installing in the background.

The only thing that sticks out for me is camera on the back; that's the only thing I'm missing from my (school's) 7.

I like my original Nexus 7 but I personally feel that a 7" screen is too small for a tablet. It just makes it feel like a large smartphone.

IMO you really need a 10-12" screen in a portable tablet. Having used a iPad4/SurfaceRT tablet for a while that sort of screen size a much better form factor for viewing desktop webpages and general productivity.

I agree. I find watching videos and browsing websites on my Nexus 10 is much nicer compared to the Nexus 7.

see, I'm the other way round - I feel 7" is perfectly sized, having gone from an iPad for that very reason. I think it's clear there's a market for both.

^^Same with me, although i use my Nexus 7 for reading books a lot too so i find the smaller size a lot better.

@CyberNerd. eBuyer should have the new Nexus 7's in stock on Monday (over two weeks before DSG!).

I wonder if they are both guessing rather than official dates.

@Arthur Thanks because a friend was asking about them. Can't afford one myself having forked out £400 for a non existent phone.
