URGENT - INFO REQUIRED
Apologies for the short notice but I have a meeting in an hour about this.
We have 32 i-pads which the teacher now wants Pages, Keynotes and Numbers installed.
Has anyone here used those apps on i-pads in a purely windows environment on multi-user ipads?
If so, how do the students save the work?

Good luck!

28th February 2013, 12:15 PM #4 Unless pages etc gets round the limitation IOS only allows uploading or attaching of photos and videos. So no way to get the files off other than maybe a Dropbox type app

We've set up WebDAV both here and at a local jr school and it works quiet well. Another alternative to Pages, etc, is the Google Drive app.

Does WebDAV require authentication (AD or otherwise) & does it cache the users logged in WebDAV session?

28th February 2013, 02:36 PM #10 I've set up WebDAV at numerous schools. Have a search of the forums to find what I posted.
You may also find it useful to host a proxy.pac file in IIS so the iPads can talk to the World Wide Web

28th February 2013, 02:42 PM #11 We have a .pac file in place.
One thing we can't get working through Link2ICT is Meraki. We can register them everywhere else except from behind Link2ICT proxy. Case is still open (and so is just about every port known to man!!!!)

Funnily enough I've looked at that recently too. You need to open a million and one ports. They also suggested opening 1000 ports, I think it was 63-64,000 which I think is crazy. I hope it's a typo, but I'll soon find out.
