Did anyone take a look at this on the Samsung stand at BETT? Has anyone got it or is anyone going to trial it? I was wondering if it's as good as it seems.
Produced by a Canadian company, SOTI, it has an impressive cv enabling you to manage tablets of all flavours, allowing remote device lock and wipe, app installation and geo fencing and it syncs with AD.
The geo fencing enables you to have the device configured in 'school mode' within its perimeter and to release the controls on BYOD when outside school. It seemed an answer to many problems with BYOD and tablets in schools... too good to be true?

There was another company - next door to Samsung actually - called Airwatch who do something similar although it didnt seem quite so user friendly and I didnt see anything about the geofencing.
