What does the future hold for the mighty RIM?

I have over 50 Blackberries in my IT care on a BES.
I used to get called at least 5 times a month from someone trying to upsell me from Express to the full Monty. Even that has stopped.

The company continues to blindly force new starters to have a BB even though most have personal smartphones, many of whom have been allowed to get their company email on their iDevices and Galaxy IIIs
Everybody walks around with two phones but the majority use their personal device rather than the company BB's

Is the BB doomed? With a 64GB Playbook @ £129 inc vat its like the HP Tablet fire sale all over again.

How long can they hold out? What can they do to stay in the game? Should I care?

Oh how the mighty have fallen.

We would still have them if we were not forced to move to a secure email system which made the blackberry useless and turned it into an expensive smartphone with the software we had to use to comply to code of connection for our setup.

Any day I would go back to a local exchange, a BES and a BB.
